book ahead to COMPLY WITH COVID-19 PROTOCOLS & TO ensure your time on the water

Wakeboarding is a really fun and easy activity to learn - and Windmill Lake offers a friendly and affordable environment in which to do it!

Wakeboards are like a smaller, shorter and wider version of a snowboard that you ride on the water. In the past, most people wakeboarded behind boats but now we can offer something more unique and affordable - a chance to ride behind a cable!

These cable systems, called Sesitec System 2.0, are designed specifically for beginners. It pulls you up and out of the water, removing the resistance and difficulty of getting up behind a boat. We also teach wakeskating, which is like skateboarding on the water.

Our activities at Windmill Lake are open to all ages and abilities! We have taught from age 3 to 81 and are excited to teach you to ride!

We are located just 1 hour from London, 20 minutes from Grand Bend and 5 minutes from Bayfield.

Whether it's your first time wakeboarding or you want to learn new tricks, we have a great team of instructors who look forward to helping you enjoy every moment on the water!

As you know, our dedication to the environment means that all of our activities have minimal impact on their surroundings. The cables are virtually silent and by riding we aerate the lake, keeping it happy and healthy for our plants and animals.
